Service Description
Supports the healthy development of families and children so they may achieve the following goals and objectives:
- Ensure the safety of children
- Maintain the family whenever safe and possible
- Ensure the healthy reunification of children with their families whenever safe and possible
- Maintain the family unit and well-being of the children
- Enhance family wellness
- Encourage and support respectful, responsible parenting by cultivating a respectful, responsible relationship with the family
- Enhance awareness of other resources and when required assist them in utilizing the resources.
Eligibility
Families struggling with caring for their children, families with children in care of the ministry, and high risk youth and families.
