Service Description
Works alongside communities to recognize areas of concern and reduce injuries and fatalities within Member First Nations by providing education, awareness, and prevention on traffic-related issues, including:
- Impaired Driving Prevention
- Distracted Driving Prevention
- One Simple Decision Simulator
- Roll-over Simulator
- Car Seat Clinics
- Bike and pedestrian safety
- Helmet safety
- School bus safety
- SGI Legislation changes
- Information booths at career fairs and Treaty Days
- Smudge Walks promoting pedestrian and driver safety
Eligibility
Members of the Saskatoon Tribal Council including Kinistin Saulteaux, Mistawasis Nêhiyawak, Muskeg Lake, Muskoday, One Arrow, Whitecap Dakota, and Yellow Quill First Nations.
