Service Description

Has legal authority under delegation of the Ministry of Social Services (Child and Family Services Act) to assess, investigate, and respond to alleged reports of child welfare concerns in member communities. Works with communities to respond to child welfare concerns with a focus on addressing safety concerns that support the child’s best interest and build upon family strengths.

Eligibility

Members of the Saskatoon Tribal Council including Kinistin Saulteaux, Mistawasis Nêhiyawak, Muskeg Lake, Muskoday, One Arrow, Whitecap Dakota, and Yellow Quill First Nations.
